Pros
originally started as entrepreneurial company with a small feel that valued employees; local staff/environment generally psotive
Cons
company preaches open-door/entrepreneurial culture then reprimands staff for following the culture; management dictates from a distance instead of leading; CEO is so far removed from company operations and reality that it has become an ongoing joke among staff; absolutely no room for growth; disrespect and harassment run rampant throughout company; entrepreneurial spirit is crushed by severe micromanagement at all levels. Pres/CEO preaches importance of work/life balance then expects salaried staff to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week and to cancel vacations for last-minute "visits", etc. HR Team is now called "talent development" yet there is no visible plan to teach/guide/mentor/develop staff company-wide. Company has strayed from its mission and is now focused on cheaper product, less man-hours, shrinking budgets and expecting more with much less in order to finance president's/company's "compound" in Utah. Dozens of valuable people have left in the last three years, which should be sending a message but nobody is listening. Joint owners of the company don't even get along or agree anymore--what does that tell you?
