Upper leadership is incompetent a majority of the time and sometimes just downright malicious. Julia and the rest of E-staff lied through their teeth for months that no layoffs were projected or anticipated only for her to rustle us into an all-hands to let us know we were getting the axe. They'll roll out a 3 year plan and change it eighteen months in. These layoffs came in the middle of a multi-year plan, and I would be shocked if they don't change it again in the next six to twelve months.
