Pros

My coworkers are generally very kind and great to work with. Even management, who I have a lot of problems with, is quite respectful.

Cons

The amount of poorly-considered process constraints is staggering. For example, our application broke recently because we simply don't pay our bills. But finding and paying those bills takes days unless we get our CEO involved. There are lots of similarly annoying things slowing down my day-to-day. These can come in a lot of forms, but here are the most significant ones: sox compliance issues, poor long-term planning, constant significant changes to the team structure, feature requests from random parts of the company that don't go through our product planning, and not hiring enough people to match our team's expectations.

Pros

I work in the EverHealth division. Colleagues are friendly and quick to help. Diversity is a founding value--and for a guy not so much on that bandwagon (due to the political bent) I am astonished that this company walks their talk. Diversity of thought is protected and respected. I really admire this. Managers are communicative and and eager to help you succeed. There is a sense of ownership at all levels. This traces back to another founding value that everyone wins or loses together. It's the primary reason I pursued this company and they walk the talk here as well. Collaboration between all levels is fantastic. I've not encountered any "silos" among teams or groups which reflects well on both the leadership and the people.

Cons

Products need some help. But there's always a difference between the way a product looks through the lens of marketing vs customers. This is normal and expected. To be fair--the company is investing in the products and paying attention to customer feedback which is encouraging.
