Pros

Competitive wages, good benifits and a growing company

Cons

Full swing into the diversity quota and equality index. They went from hiring the best people for the job, or early talent who they could train up to hiring based on ethnicity and gender. Replaced full time staff with consultants, and the expectations drastically outweighs what is possible with how many antiquated systems exist and how much can feasibly be done given constraints.

Pros

Genuinely cannot think of a compelling pro to list here at this point.

Cons

The IT Infrastructure teams were already rife with terrible QA, critically bad habits and overall defensive and unproductive demeanors. But Everest outdid itself by signing a contract with a service provider to provide staffing moving forward. This was a widely opposed decision that was made so a certain someone in the dept with high power can point to a page and say "see I made the expense number go down. Can I please have another bonus?" The IT infrastructure Deptartment is now flooded with HB1 workers who are blatantly lying on their resumes and get shipped over here in droves in order to perform cheap and mediocre work. If you are not one of them, you will spend and waste a great amount of time training them or making sense of their workflows. All in all, if there's one thing you can expect from the Everest IT Infrastructure dept. is finding a way to perform even worse than it did before. Avoid it like the plague.
