Pros

The company has gone through an incredible amount of change in a relatively short time. Could it have got differently? Sure. Is the company still successful? Yes. So what does this mean for people who workhere? There are many opportunities to make an impact and build career defining work. You have to be someone who can manage the details and manage up. You have to be able to navigate ambiguity, be decisive and be accountable for your work. If you are uncomfortable with that, then you may come to an online anonymous forum to complain about it. The company has fantastic people who work here and those who want to make a difference, and bring innovative ideas easily can. Pay and benefits are competitive.

Cons

Company grew quickly, and the systems and processes are adapting to keep up. At times, it can feel overwhelming. But it's getting better. The workload at times can be a lot. The organization runs lean.

Pros

Genuinely cannot think of a compelling pro to list here at this point.

Cons

The IT Infrastructure teams were already rife with terrible QA, critically bad habits and overall defensive and unproductive demeanors. But Everest outdid itself by signing a contract with a service provider to provide staffing moving forward. This was a widely opposed decision that was made so a certain someone in the dept with high power can point to a page and say "see I made the expense number go down. Can I please have another bonus?" The IT infrastructure Deptartment is now flooded with HB1 workers who are blatantly lying on their resumes and get shipped over here in droves in order to perform cheap and mediocre work. If you are not one of them, you will spend and waste a great amount of time training them or making sense of their workflows. All in all, if there's one thing you can expect from the Everest IT Infrastructure dept. is finding a way to perform even worse than it did before. Avoid it like the plague.
