      Pros

      Great support! The culture of the company is fantastic and the recruiters and reps are amazing. No matter how busy they are they always try to help you and they are genuinely happy to do it! They are as transparent as they can be and constructive in any needed criticism. I started in a contractor position with a strict 12 month end with only possibility of 6 months of extension, which I fortunately received and absolutely took advantage of, most folks don't like the contract aspect of the position I was in and try to find another job before it's finished, but Apex doesn't leave you hanging! Had some of my previous co-workers stuck with the company they might have experienced the opportunity to move up into a higher paying position, as I did and be able to stay in the awesome work environment we have. So happy I stayed. Now I'm in a vendor role with no end date and fortunately got one that makes more per hour too.

      Cons

      Along with the casual and comfortable culture comes a little bit of unprofessionalism. If you're a people person, love working on teams and are good with making do with limited information sometimes, it's all good, but if you really want a lot of structure and solid consistency in what you can expect, you may not stay long. Consistency is not their strong-point. Unfortunately as hard as they try, they don't have as many reps as they really need to give everyone all the needed information all the time, so sometimes they fall behind in their communication. All my experience with them has been during the pandemic though, so they've had to really pull together in trying to keep up with all the changes like going from in-office to remote work etc. like a lot of companies. So personally, I don't think they do that bad considering, and it doesn't really bother me.

      Initially very easy to work with and found an ideal role for me

      Cons

      Talked up similar roles, but when initial (short term) contract up, crickets. Related - while I thought they were looking for other roles (after my follow ups), received separation which is ok, but a note stating nothing in the pipeline 1st would have been appreciated. After seperation notice asked for vacation pay earned and they told me no. Needed to send them the law for our state, they agreed to pay it this time, but stated only the major city in state required it (false).
