Pros
Usually the people you work with form a close bond - even my direct manager is on friendly terms with everyone. No one seems to have a complaint at the local level.
Cons
Upper management seems to focus on the majority of the employees (exempt pay grade), leaving us (non-exempt) workers out to dry. We have no raises, pretty garbage healthcare for what it costs, and are generally ignored in favor of appealing to louder mass of exempt workers. ELearning developers at my specific location are even paid about $10k less than the regional average for our job.
