The people at director level and above are completely disconnected, to the point of being delusional. The company underwent a failed business transformation and is on a dismal trajectory. All the while, the individuals back at "Headquarters" congratulate themselves on a job well done, celebrating with pay raises, bonuses, and promotions (for themselves). The "solution" to issues with the bottom line is to get rid of more and more people without addressing the impact to running the business... anyone with literally any other options has already jumped ship.
