Pros

Everspring is not your typical workplace. I am proud to work for a company whose mission is grounded in education. We don't churn out useless widgets you don't need. We help empower people through education. We also have an amazing culture that focuses and cares about employees. We are a community and our executives care as much about their teams as they do about the bottom line. Jeff and Beth are charismatic leaders guiding us forward but they also have a strong senior team leading the functions. We work hard but we have fun while doing it. Sure, you'll encounter a jerk here or there but the majority of my coworkers are friendly, supportive and want you to succeed.

Cons

We need more Tech resources. The team is stretched thin but the demands aren't getting smaller. Benefits needs some work too. More vacation time!

Pros

The best boss I’ve ever had was at this job. I love that the job is mostly remote, but there are some in person opportunities. I always felt supported and fairly compensated.

Cons

We’re required to come in twice a month. I wish it wasn’t a requirement, just strongly encouraged.

Terrible work-life balance Will have you managing a huge account, almost basically on your own, and your managers (plural) will either be so burnt out that they cannot help you or so obsessed with looking good for the CEO that they disregard you and pile on more work Layoffs (twice in a calendar year now), where they’ll move the extra work to an already burnt out team Low Pay, Laughable Raises No place for growth Pushes to complete the “Chicago Great Places to Work” survey with positive remarks because that’s one of the only things making them look good to new hires
