It is unfortunate that you have this perception. We take feedback seriously and for this reason want to clarify that our workplace culture and practices are not aligned with the claims in your review. Specifically, our employee retention is approximately 4.5 years, well above the 2-year industry average, and our team includes a substantial number of individuals with far longer tenure. Our promotion rates for minority employees mirror our overall promotion rates, and our employee surveys consistently reflect a strong and supportive culture. We were recently recognized for the 4th time as a Great Place to Work and have repeatedly been on BuiltIn Chicago's Best Places to Work, including in 2025. We are committed to fostering an open and supportive environment, where all team members learn, form meaningful connections, and have an opportunity to do their best work. If you have specific concerns, questions or additional feedback please reach out to me directly through HR@everspringpartners.com so I can address them directly. Thank you, Audra Kachonik VP Human Resources, Everspring

Pros

The best boss I’ve ever had was at this job. I love that the job is mostly remote, but there are some in person opportunities. I always felt supported and fairly compensated.

Cons

We’re required to come in twice a month. I wish it wasn’t a requirement, just strongly encouraged.

Pros

Nice office, free coffee and snacks Work From Home Stepping Stone Some nice coworkers

Cons

Terrible work-life balance Will have you managing a huge account, almost basically on your own, and your managers (plural) will either be so burnt out that they cannot help you or so obsessed with looking good for the CEO that they disregard you and pile on more work Layoffs (twice in a calendar year now), where they’ll move the extra work to an already burnt out team Low Pay, Laughable Raises No place for growth Pushes to complete the “Chicago Great Places to Work” survey with positive remarks because that’s one of the only things making them look good to new hires

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience at Everspring did not meet your expectations. I understand how difficult organizational changes can feel. Creating a supportive, sustainable work environment is important to us, and we have successfully done so for hundreds of employees for well more than a decade. As such, we regularly conduct workload reviews and adjust workload assumptions, to ensure our teams are engaged and well supported and that Everspring continues to thrive. We will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to undertake these reviews. We value the contributions of our team members and their long-term career success.
