Pros
New company equals lots of "innovative, creative" conversations. You almost feel more important than you actually are, like you're contributing to something larger than just you or your department. Some of the people are cool and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Cons
Too bad nothing really comes from the great ideas and suggestions because no one seems to know what's going on. Every department works autonomously making it difficult to understand how your work helps/effects the next department. It is a true start up because there are so many loose ends and moving parts things often get lost in the mix. The expectations don't match what were physically able to do. You almost feel as if you're being pulled in all different directions while trying to give everything equal attention. It isn't possible. We can only do so much.
