Pros
Pros: -There are free donuts every Friday.
Cons
Cons: -Low, low pay for skilled work. -No raises or bonuses. -Schedules are not adhered to. -Every critical department is perpetually understaffed. -Of the staff we have, none are properly trained, and many aren't competent to do the tasks assigned. -Rules, regulations, and safety guidelines are considered optional. -Training is often lacking or not delivered at all. -Directions from management are sporadic and inconsistent. -Departments are all at odds, blame each other constantly, and don't work together. -Upper management sells customers promises which the company cannot deliver, leaving the frontline employees to deal with the flood of angry phone calls, emails, and outraged customers at the desk. -If you are halfway competent, you will quickly find yourself tasked with four or five extra jobs outside your specified duties due to the lack of staffing. The company will conveniently never manage to hire anyone to take those responsibilities back. I can't speak for Anchorage, but Everts' Fairbanks location is where freight and bypass mail goes to die. And where employees' hopes, dreams, and will to live go to die too. Please do yourself a favor and don't apply here. Literally anywhere else is better. Last I checked, even Taco Bell pays a higher starting wage.
