Disorganized Company, but opportunity for career growth - Anonymous employee Everyday Health Group Employee Review

Pros

Plenty of room to grow and develop your career if you are smart and know how to play the game. Some good benefits- free fruit in the kitchen, unlimited PTO (however this is at the discretion of your manager), OK health insurance.

Cons

Extremely sales focused which can lead to disorganization and poor business practices. Company is overall disorganized and constantly changing- they have a lot of difficulty signing up for a project and working hard to see it through- if it doesn't make money within the first few months it gets scraped which in turn causes time wasted and employee layoffs that all could have been avoided if they thought through decisions better and gave things more time and focus. The office is also incredibly dirty and not a great environment to work in. It is an open office- with small desks for its employees giving it the feel of an assembly line with very little personal space. This also makes it difficult to focus on your daily job with constant distractions going on around you.

Pros

Amazing benefits, and great flexibility. Most employees I met have been here anywhere from 5-20+ years which is a great sign that people are happy here.

Cons

Not much training in the beginning, Would have loved more of a structured onboarding process to help learn quicker.
