Evolve used to be great and I loved saying I worked at Evolve. But ever since 2020, things have seemed to of been falling apart. First things first, I’m highly disappointed and frustrated with how Evolve handles layoffs. There have been silent layoffs since 2020 where people are laid off at least once a quarter. I was one of those individuals and it was 3 weeks before I give birth. Unfortunately for me, it’s completely legal to do that but puts the ethics of the company at stake. I understand business operations happen but the complete lack of empathy I received from the company who knew my maternity leave was due to start soon only to lay me off right before is inexcusable. Don’t expect to hear anything from anyone when you email them how you feel either, cause those who manage leaderships inbox won’t bother to respond either. I know so many individuals who have been negatively impacted by the choices that evolve has made in their leadership that’s resulted in too many layoffs for me to even count on my fingers and toes. Leadership is all over the place. COHAD means absolutely nothing when the company changes their mind on a weekly basis and leaves their employees confused as to what direction the company is actually going in. Teams are understaffed and those individuals still working are stretched thin and constantly having too much on their plate, especially since the salary doesn’t match the workload of employees. Burn out is huge at this company but nothing is ever done to help the last remaining solid people that are in the company. Don’t expect to get decent raises once a year because the raise you’ll be given feels like a slap in the face for having to run around 40 hours a week. I used to be incredibly proud to work at Evolve and it’s a shame I’m having to write this but when it comes down to it, you’re just a head count not seen as a real person. I hope that the company can bounce back and truly get to where it was before but the way things are going, I’m not confident in that. At the current state of what I know this company to be at, I would not in a million years recommend someone to work here.
