Pros

The top pros are paid medical, remote first, easy day to day processes. Honestly they will give you this job for extremely low effort if you need a job. If you want work life balance this is a great fit. Mostly because you could do this job with your eyes closed. No experience needed. They will train you to use the platforms and work with you to make sure you can do the job. Very entry level stuff. There is a ‘ramp up’ period after training. Training last for 1 month then goals start at 1,4,6,8,10,12 to 16. 16 is the company wide goal for all VRA’s. During the ramp up period you can make easy money. Nothing to brag about, but if you need a job it’s worth it.

Cons

This is a call center. You have to make a minimum of 30-40 calls a day. They will not tell you in interviews or training that this is a call center until you’re getting singled out on reports. VRAs just dial to dial to hit these numbers. No one is actually having 30-40 conversations. Goals- Hitting the ramp up Goals are easy. However about 5% of tenured VRAs that have a goal of 16 were able to consistently achieve that. Commission- It is dreadful… the commission is the same every month-for every VRA-No matter your goal. So if your goal is 1= 2,900 or 16=2,900. There are small accelerators for overachievers but it’s really laughable. Once you get to the tenured goal of 16 it’s likely you are not going to hit that goal let alone the accelerators. Base pay- Not even worth mentioning. It’s just pennies… Growth- There’s literally no growth within Sales all VRAs are considered the same no matter if you’re here for 1 month or 5years. There is a Dedicated Advisor position that opened up in 2024. They are over the Plus membership clients. There is a low amount of Plus clients so that role will most likely not stick around. Staff- Extremely high turnover. Very reactive management. They honestly have no emotional intelligence when it comes to professionalism. Instead of strategic communication upper management sounds like toddlers having a tantrum. No engagement in meetings. Very dry culture. The ERG groups have zero engagements. Evolve just doesn’t get how to build a high performing-remote first-collaborative culture.

Thanks for sharing your experience, and we're glad you enjoyed your role as a VRA. This team plays a crucial role in delivering for our owners and guests. We hold high expectations for all teams and wouldn't characterize VRA work as easy, but we do hope it's always manageable and allows Evolvers to thrive within and outside of Evolve.

Pros

Wonderful teammates that quickly become the only reason you stick with Evolve, outside of a steady paycheck.

Cons

Too many to list truly. This company is grasping at straws to survive in the short-term vacation rental industry; despite being manhandled at every turn by "partner" companies such as Airbnb. The company is literally always changing the goal post and then blaming the frontline team for not meeting their insane expectations. You will deal with multiple shift bids during the year, mainly to follow their random firing/layoffs that they wish to keep quiet. Constant system changes, staff changes and new responsibilities that are often rushed and not yet ready to be implemented, and an incredible lack of care from leadership. Nonexistent training for all of the new responsibilities you will take on after the layoff of an important team. By the time I left in April 2026, I had taken on partner services, guest support, owner support, listing optimization, booking management, damage claims for substantial incident reports and more. All of which you are expected to complete with back to back inbound calls to uphold the "customer-obsession" role. When they have decided to put you and at least 5 other teammates on the same chopping block, they will claim you were "avoiding work" or "on a call too long" to avoid any accountability for the drastic amount of issues at this company. I have had 7 MANAGERS within a 3.5 year span. If you absolutely have to work here, the only way to get through it is to completely disassociate and be sure to use your 10 EAP sessions...
