Pros

Friendly co-workers and middle management Good starting salary, however a Masters degree is required Decent cafe on site Free parking A good work load- not too busy, not too slow Understanding and kind immediate supervisors Good parental leave policy

Cons

Leadership and executive staff try to provide small concessions to boost employee morale, but a lot of work still needs to be done. The threat of downsizing seems to constantly be in the air, given past circumstances. It feels as if there is little job security, and we are not being given the full picture. No merit raises in the four years I've been there. One year we got a small cost of living increase. Paid time off was at one level when hired, then accrual dipped by a lot the next year. Tight seating arrangements Advising atmosphere is always changing, and not for the better. More and more work keeps piling on. It's starting to feel like a call center. No room for job advancement anymore.
