Pros
You are very rarely asked to work overtime, and management never (in my experience) forces teams to try and meet unrealistic deadlines - they realize that does nothing but burn people out and promote poor quality. Excecutive leadership is top notch; they are very measured and don't make mistakes. Layoffs don't happen.
Cons
No working from home - ever. Too much middle management and inconsistent job expectations amongst low level managers. Too conservative and expecations too low at times..takes embarassingly long to deploy new software. No company sponsored team building events..managers pay for team celebrations, lunches, etc. out of their own pocket.
