Pros
*i cant really say the discounts(because if youre a true customer the coupons add up) but they are 30% off. You cant use on sale items and sometimes we get an additional 15% for certain events. *some of the CSL's are very good at getting us motivated *the customers can be great. It always feels good to make someone else feel good. *learning a lot about retail as a whole: you gain a lot of experience because it is a challenge. *energetic music and great visual merchandising
Cons
*being on your feet all day * the job is unreliable because one week you can have twenty hours and the next week you could have five *we are forced to make the customers happy all the time which makes us seem like pushovers *the pressure to get credit cards is ridiculous *email and phone capture rates are important and apparently your hours are based on this which is unfair because people from other countries cant give their phone numbers *we are always told that there are no hours to give yet new employees are constantly hired *understaffed; i think this is the companies's way of saving money( three people are in each section of the store and two people at the cash wrap which is ridiculous for closing) *the manager has attitude problems, *overly critical of our mistakes.
