Pros
-Flexible with scheduling (worked part-time and was a full-time student) -Growth opportunities (associate > fashion expert > sales lead ) -Great staff and management -Co-worker competition for best dressed (won 1 time and get a free item) -Hard workers receive consistent hours -Easy place to work at (usually stress free until holidays)
Cons
-Low pay (started at minimum but received 2 raises within 16 months of working there) -Real big on costumer loyalty (phone & e-mail captures / credit cards) -Must wear Express jeans (can wear other clothing from other retailers as long as there is no brand/logo on the item. As long as it "looks" Express you can wear it) -During slow days they cut employees despite making thousands a week (during slow seasons we would net on average $40000-$60000 a week and they would still be low on hours to give)
