Cons
I understand retail can be a tough experience but this was truly absurd. They required you to wear only their brand clothing while working on the floor so you have to spend a ton of money on their items to work there (even with the employee discount that is worse than a big sale). Managers constantly just pointed to customers in the store and told you to greet them AGAIN and AGAIN which annoyed people. Was also told to refold stacks of already folded clothing over and over to 'look busy.' Then they would appoint 1 associate to close the entire store (was a large location with about 8 sections which took until midnight after closing as part of the afternoon shift. Employee turnover was nonstop. People would just say nothing and never come back because it was awful. On call 24/7 standing by to drive over with a couple hours notice so you can't have a life. But never getting anywhere near livable hours per week and just would work 1-2 absurd days that went all night. Also suspicious activity from veteran employees and management who would walk around the theft detector panels. This obviously had to do with one particular location at a point in time, but this is the experience i had.
