Pros
Work from home. Immediate leadership is very much involved in assistance when you're struggling, and will work with you to make sure you have the resources to succeed.
Cons
Salaries are well under where they should be for the position. Over the 2nd half of 2021, responsibilities have increased drastically with no salary raise to match. The executive leadership at this company will tout their achievements left and right, but never are the benefits of said achievements passed along to the employees responsible for producing those results. In the later half of 2020, the executive team went on and on about how they were able to make it through the pandemic without having to close any hotels or lay off staff. They made it through the pandemic with limited fiscal impacts, yet no salary or even the annual cost of living increase was given to any employee. Hotels are working on what is basically a skeleton staff, but are expected to drive perfect customer service and clean rooms. There is only 1 person who will work the afternoon shift, causing a backlog of guests checking in, those calling the hotel, and requests needed after management leaves for the day. Staff are over-expected and underpaid leading to high turnover rates. All this impacts guest satisfaction, which in turn, hurts the sales department who are completely responsible for their account production. Have been in my current position for 2.5 years, and the only increase to my pay was in 2021 to the annual 3% cost of living increase which all employees get across the board.
