Pros

Work with global customers/vendors Chance of business travel (depends on the team you are in) Blessed to have worked with very nice and welcoming people

Cons

Performance assessment is unjust/unfair/unclear, you may experience fresh grads working lesser years than you, but earns more than you after a year/two. All thanks to this company's 'excellent' performance assessment process. You'll be lucky if your manager likes you, you'll probably get higher increment compared to your other team members. And their default answer for the others who received low increments will be "it is just too competitive". You will work odd hours especially when dealing with global users. Your work does not end at 5pm, prepare to have night meetings at least once or twice every single week.

Pros

- Great learning opportunity - get to work with some of the most knowledgeable, hard working, smart, and well rounded individuals - Learn top of the industry engineering skills and fundamentals - Strong emphasis on data backed decision making

Cons

- Extremely political, differentiation between high performers is typically more about how well you've advertised yourself and what aliances you've made as opposed to your actual contributions - Very resistant to change, everything is essentially already mapped out for you - Too rigid of a work environment with little room for individuality or new ways of approaching old problems
