This company fosters a fear-based work culture through its toxic ranking system, which pits employees against one another, including against their own managers. There’s a reason why performance assessments are jokingly referred to as “The Hunger Games” among employees. Leadership thrives on ambiguity, and many managers will either neglect you entirely, refuse to delegate meaningful work, or actively sabotage you by speaking out of both sides of their mouth.
