Pros

They tend to work with your schedule depending on your needs. I applied part time and had 2 days off. I would only do an 8 hr shift on Saturday’s since those are the busiest days. I got pregnant during my employment time and asked if they can give me 3 days off due to me being tired and preparing myself for my baby and they were able to work with me. I did 4/5 hr shifts throughout the week and they would alternate me in the mornings and afternoons.

Cons

If you don’t know anything about glasses, it can be sort of difficult to learn since it is a lot of stuff to go over.

Pros

Co-Workers PTO Licensing opportunities for optician positions is probably the headliner The work is genuinely interesting

Cons

Corporate culture is entirely "CYA" with a side of saccharine group cheerleading while every single individual above the store level will privately admit that it's essentially rudderless because nobody wants to risk standing out. Low pay relative to the industry and intelligence needed to competently perform the job(s) w/yearly raises that are so low that it's more of an insult than not offering raises at all would be.
