Pros
-To Eze’s credit they were able to hire people for good cultural fit and that has created an atmosphere where most people get along and become friends inside and outside of work -Some managers are truly good people and care about their subordinates' development -Patagonia swag -Beer Fridays -Free water, coffee, paper towels and toilet paper
Cons
-CEO is using a 20 year old playbook to make decisions in 2016 and although it’s clearly not working it is still being pushed forward with brute force -The company is only focused on numbers and how top brass can reach those numbers and eventually get paid out. ALL else is unimportant -Outsourcing to India makes 0 sense but is currently priority #1 -Lack of transparency in recently introduced salary bands that may or may not be incorrectly calculated at the 75% percentile. Why 75%, is that all employees are worth? This is a question no one will ever answer for you but they will be sure to make you aware that your salary is capped -Recently done away with bonus eligibility for individual contributors :-( and therefore no incentive for top performers -A few at the top control the political landscape of the company which means transparency is next to nothing
