Pros

Works hard to maintain a start-up culture even though it is getting bigger by the year Benefits are very generous. Most people are very friendly and take their jobs seriously, great co-workers who work hard Some positions compensate well with performance-based raises and bonuses Great for those who are fresh out of school at the entry-level position as this is what the company mainly hires

Cons

Despite efforts, "corporate culture" really is starting to change the spirit of Eze thanks to the larger corporate ConvergEx's influence. This will only get worse, not better. Others have mentioned the poor work-life balance at Eze, but it's also a symptom of deeper structural issues, which is that instead of promoting hard-working individuals or bringing in enough new blood for management/senior positions, they just give more responsibilities to the same already-overworked individuals and small teams. A lot of career advancement is probably influenced more by nepotism than meritocracy. Career advancement is extremely difficult for women here. Men will, 9 times out of 10, get promoted before you. Only certain teams offer any so-called career advancement, and that is primarily centered within the Leadership Development program. For other teams, you will more often than not find yourself plateaued within a position (with an increasingly shrinking percentage-based pay raises) year after year until either your manager leaves or you do.
