Pros

-Free snacks and beers (not much)

Cons

- Lack of talent retention ( I watched my specific team go from 8 to 3 in less than 1 year and not one person was asked to stay or offered any perks to stay, some of these people were very highly talented but were being led by someone very quiet and not really ready to be a leader) -Specific team leadership ( some folks are in leadership roles because they have been there for a long time, they are not necessarily leaders. They are given these roles because well they have the most knowledge about a specific area of the product.... this is AWFUL for employees looking to bond with leadership and management since the leaders of specific teams have trouble connecting with the employees on their own teams) - Exposure to upper management does not exist (you are replaceable and they are not trying to get to know you aka career development is awful) - Career development (most programs relating to career growth are for employees who have been there 3+ years... sad part is most people have been there either 8+ years of less than 2 years cause the company is awful at retaining good young talent, so there perks arent great for young people). - No Team bonding (atleast this was true of my team where we would only have a team "event" when someone new was hired and we would go out to the MOST awkward lunch cause no one really knew each other... this starts with the manager not stepping up to create a solid environment for the team)

Thank you for your feedback. I’m disappointed to hear you characterize your experience at Eze in this way. As you know, working in a high energy, high performance environment like Eze can be challenging and we aspire to retain the best and the brightest with training, certifications, career pathing, and our pay for performance culture. We never want to see our talented employees move on to other opportunities. I am proud of Eze’s open culture, and ensuring that all employees have access to management is something that is very important to me. In addition, the Executive team and I understand how important an employee’s relationship is with their immediate manager and we’re constantly working to invest in the leaders at Eze. If any employee doesn’t feel that they can speak to their direct manager or leader about issues that arise, they can always go to their HR Business Partner. All of our executives have an open-door policy and we have many opportunities for employees to socialize with their peers, management and leadership – some are informal like holiday parties, summer outings, Beer Time (every Friday) and weekly lunches with me, and others are more formal like the mentor program or leadership programs. We have invested significantly in opportunities for career development and we have many resources available to all employees without tenure requirements. In fact, many of the programs target employees early in their career. For example, we have a certification program, a tuition reimbursement program, free access to online courses, and a mentor program, just to name a few. While I’m sorry you chose not to take advantage of these programs, I thank you for your time at Eze and wish you all the best in the future.
