Pros
We're building a cloud product using the latest tech (AWS, Docker, Golang, NodeJS, etc). The problem space has many interesting challenges (Complex event processing, Lambda architecture (batch and speed layers), eventual consistency. There are plenty of opportunities to leave your mark and make a difference.
Cons
The cloud effort has been an evolution. Some early ideas have changed. Some folks left too early. This has created space for new people and new ideas. Bonuses were eliminated for non-management employees and base salaries were adjusted accordingly.
