Pros
Eze truly is a place that rewards hard work. Talented people from different academic backgrounds are hired into entry level positions and given an opportunity to thrive and grow in a meritocratic environment. The Leadership Development Program combines an entry level position, where you are immediately a contributor, and "on the job" training/knowledge-building designed to prepare new hires to be promoted to a Business Consultant position at one of 5 domestic offices (Boston, NYC, SF, CT, Chicago). The Business Consultant position is an amazing opportunity to work directly with high profile hedge funds, traditional asset managers, banks, etc. You become the face of Eze Castle and are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with client contacts. You get to support and manage production environments and projects for existing accounts but are also given the opportunity to implement Eze's software platform from scratch at new clients. The role not only gives you amazing exposure within the company, which can open doors for additional upward mobility within Eze, but it also provides incredible exposure to the financial services industry as a whole. Overall, Eze is a dynamic work environment, where your day-to-day is always changing. The focus is on teamwork and it is very easy to develop great work relationships with your colleagues as well as long lasting friendships with co-workers. There are also great "small company" type perks like beer on Friday afternoons, a sponsered league basketball team, and sponsored external certifications like the Series 7.
Cons
You will be challenged here. Dedication and engagement in the work are vital for success and those looking for a 9-5 "punch in-punch out" type of job will be undoubtedly dissapointed. It can also be a stressful environment at times, particularly when working on hot production issues for clients.
