Pros

Some people genuinely care about others at the company and want to help you succeed (though they have zero power).

Cons

The company is run by executives who think we're still in the DotCom bust. Doesn't matter how many times employees bring up major attrition issues, pay problems, or frustrations with handling money saved over the pandemic - in company-wide meetings or 1-on-1s with your manager, they will refuse to acknowledge the problems until it slaps them in the face (aka when clients complain because they notice attrition and it affects their service). Pay has gotten worse and worse, but so has attrition so the the workload is only growing with zero incentive. I give it another 5-7 years before this company is just a bunch of managers + execs and entry level hires. Service is our big sell to clients and I've seen it get really bad as a result of this attrition. Clients will just leave Eze. Would not be surprised if someone at the top is leaving in the next 2 years and just temporarily pushing bottom line at any cost - consequences don't matter if you're not here in a few years, right? If you're any kind of minority, don't work here, you'll be exhausted. ERGs are only important when people are literally dying because of race and it's blasted all over the news. Employees even at the associate level spent weeks pushing execs just to even send out one email of support in light of the police brutality and BLM protests. Nothing was sent out in support of Asian communities when racial violence spiked during covid. Nothing was sent on either issue by the parent company, SS&C. Most people who ran ERGs are mostly gone at this point and there's few (if any) events or discussions to virtually attend. What's pathetic is 'Diversity' was the chosen company-wide focus coming out of employee surveys. The whole company is just an example of performative allyship, don't waste your time trying to change anything because people at the top clearly can't be bothered to put in the effort to learn and grow to be allies themselves, which they should be doing not as part of their job but because they are human beings. TLDR, this company has a problem with ignorant white bro culture, execs believe you would rather be overworked way past burnout in exchange for being paid in beer (which during the pandemic they don't even give so even by that logic, you're underpaid), and it's a sinking ship in terms of people leaving in masses
