Pros
The Project Managers are extremely competent and well equipped to tackle the challenges projects will throw at them. Most PMs will do a good job mentoring the entry level Project Engineer, if their workload allows. Salary is competitive, even for entry level employees. Benefits are fantastic and have a wide range of options for family and single part insurance. Fair holiday bonuses.
Cons
Lack of structured training and SOPs for new employees. Lack of clear communication when it comes to milestones to progression within the company. Inability to process expenses in a timely fashion. Lack of written company policies in regard to reimbursement for use of personal vehicle on a consistent basis. Some leadership lack sensitivity to engage with younger staff on a professional and respectful level. There needs to be improvements to the onboarding process, specifically the first day in the office. Lack of clear communication and clear first day structure creates anxiety for new employees.
