Pros
No company is perfect, and in tech you have to see around corners to survive disruption. Sometimes this leads to some major headwinds while course-correcting but skilled management understands their dependency on a loyal crew to maintain course. To date, I feel like in the midst of change we collectively are constantly asking ourselves what is the right thing to do now? Not because there is confusion, but because the strategy adapts to the market in anticipatory ways. I think this company handles that well, and I feel like a valued part of it.
Cons
Slow cultural consolidation across several recent acquisitions makes for a complex portfolio of new and emerging solutions. This fosters an inch-deep/mile-wide approach regarding customer needs and a wide swath of technology outcomes. This asks a lot of both sales and product development and the knowledge work can be overwhelming at times.
