Pros

Work / Life balance is management dependent Pay is good, assuming you came in with a good salary, since merit increases have been minimal Benefits are good and stock is overperforming if you're vested with RSUs and taking advantage of ESPPs C-Level leadership is solid and inspiring

Cons

Marketing leaders have failed their ways into roles GDC and COE are lead by a group of older males (no diversity in leadership roles), continued attrition is hurting moral and gaslighting by leadership is uninspiring Goals are unrealistic and poor execution hurts employee's bottom line when it comes to quarterly bonuses. Lots of hiring of former colleagues / friends, creating cliques within marketing and lack of diversity. No accountability across marketing, just lots of finger pointing. Culture and values are not carried through by marketing leadership, lack of understanding of less privileged employees.

Lower than standard industry pay Corporate culture weeds out those who don't toe the line Weak management with little to no mentorship High turnover, downsizing regularly No direction or accountability within or across teams No advancement opportunity / only senior positions ever available
