Pros

Initially, the team was good; spending time to train. Now, they just don't care.

Cons

After quiting FCS-Alphacrest team, I have joined a high-tech quant firm - with a big hike and great promises on performance appraisals. My team manager has kept the promise and I have been receiving 50 to 100% bonus every year since I have joined this high-tech quant firm. Today, I got a big surprise - I have received 50% incentive in the mid-of-the year as exemplary performance year- to-date. When I lookback at my FCS-Alphacrest days, I used to receive a paltry 10% bonus and 5% hike in salary. Curious to know what is happening there now, I called my ex-colleague there. He had also quit an year after I had quit. His understanding is that things still remain the same. The reason for this post is this: some companies NEVER change/adapt; if you are STUCK there, your LIFE SUCKS there.
