Pros
Sales is sales. It's hard work and ultimately you are driven by the money you make. That said, FDM did a great job of creating a good working environment while I was there. You create good bonds with your colleagues of all levels. They really do try to foster a tight-knit community and you are always given opportunities to have fun and celebrate achievements, big and small. They take care of your development. Despite it being a busy sector to work in, there are clear paths for development and you have regular contact with team leads and management to assess and understand their expectations of you, how are you are doing, and what can be done to improve and how they can assist you. Great location if you're in the London office too!
Cons
Less an issue with the company than it is with Sales. It simply wasn't the right job for me at the age I was. Sales is competitive, money-focused, and revolves around data and targets. As such, you can feel a bit like a clog in a big, grinding machine. An extremely wide variety of people from different backgrounds thrived and excelled at FDM when I was there. It simply wasn't the job for me.
