Like I said, if you’re not passionate about food or shaking things up in the mass-produced baked goods industry this isn’t the place for you. People who come in and are passionate and motivated and excited THRIVE here. No exaggeration. The people who come in looking for an easy job and a good paycheck end up complaining, ruining the environment, and leaving with the belief that this is an awful company to work for that demands far too much of its employees. But that’s not true. The truth is the right people love it here because it’s a work of love.
My advice to potential future employees is to do some serious soul searching before you apply here. If this is what you truly want out of your career, by all means shoot your shot. But if you just want a job and you don’t really care where, go look elsewhere. We don’t need that kind of energy and we don’t want it.
