Pros

Work closely with professionals to put out the best product for the customer. Great team work, everyone has one goal, to do their best work. Work is full time or more. Great benefits, large amounts of vacation time, fair pay for the most part. Opportunities to work from home.

Cons

The company is HUGE. It is a world wide company so that even after working there 16 or more years they have no problem with laying you off after reorganizing. You're a person to the team you work with, but you feel like you're a number to them. Also, sometimes your so busy you have to push off vacation to meet deadlines. Jobs demand a high level of education, which is a pro and con. If you're looking for a job there you'll have to be trained in very specific areas.

Pros

Nine years of complex engineering challenges and professional growth. Strong camaraderie with talented colleagues across various engineering teams. Opportunities to work on high-impact projects and scalable infrastructure. Gained significant experience in complex system architecture and troubleshooting.

Cons

Abrupt end to a nine-year tenure without adequate transition or transparency. Heavy reliance on an aging, legacy tech stack that hinders innovation. Contradictory AI strategy: leadership mandates aggressive adoption while refusing to fund the necessary compute and tools for teams to actually implement it. Extreme short-term focus on EPS maximization at the direct expense of long-term stability and product health.
