Not the worst place to start a career in fintech but definitely nowhere near great (or even good) - Implementations FIS Employee Review

Pros

Opportunities to take on a huge portfolio of work (if you're willing to sacrifice WLB). Make your own career - if you have any ambition or you want a competitive salary, you won't be here too long but you can beef up your resume if you find a way to get involved in (important) internal initiatives.

Cons

Dysfunctional teams across the board - I left in early summer 2022, half the cross-functional partners I started working with in 2020 were already gone, a large majority of the mgmt team for one of two products I supported has come and gone in 3 years, and I've heard through the grapevine it's even more dysfunctional than it was when I left. Tl;dr be prepared for high turnover and a very bad transition if new people come on Pay is extremely low and substandard - I left and more than doubled my salary WITHOUT aggressive salary negotiations. Culture ... it's management by committees and red tape. I can't name a single project I worked on in two years that wasn't escalated at some level. Expect to experience SNAFU every week if you're not the lowest man on the totem pole doing the most basic tasks.
