I enjoyed some of my co-workers and the ability to work from home. No weekend work.
Cons
There is a serious commitment to outsource jobs to other countries. I worked at a job directly related to the U.S. stock market. They had a series of lay offs with different preset dates to fire U.S. workers and to bring on only workers from Poland, China and India despite shareholders and financial professionals expressing their unhappiness dealing with foreign workers for U.S. related business, which is understandable. I would not count on this company for any sort of long term employment. Their compensation does not reflect of efficient subsidizing in comparison to other companies for similar roles and even other roles. You will always be a number to them and that is how you will be treated. I could go on and on about other matters, but I just don’t care anymore.
