Pros
The organisation has quite a number of perk such as a canteen and transport from door to door for staff. This is very convinent if you live far from the facility. Within groups, supervisors are rather open and easy to work with. Office enviroment is quite decent and plesant. The pay is inline with what is expected in the industry and can be above the market rate at times. IT facilities are quite decent and company often has perks and events to boost the moral of the staff. Work load is moderate at times, but during peak periods, one has to stay back.
Cons
The work enviroment is quite rigid and there are so many global and local directives to follow at times. We just try to overcome, rather than follow it. Management is very divided and protective at turf, as such the organisation is not able to work together cohesively. Some of the administrative matter lack transparency and propert communication and explaination to the staff on the ground. This results often in confusion and rumours going around. Management is not able to communicate to rank and file staff, often resulting in staff having to rely on rumours or other colleagues to gather information.
