Pros
Great salary. Quality is valued. Lots of networking opportunities. Once you prove yourself, certain career moves open for you. People want to help you and indivually recognize your successes. Lots of learning and training to benefit you.
Cons
Though you may have years of experience and the credentials, no one of authority wants to listen. PTO to use as you need but it's all lumped together - vacation & sick time. Remote access great but not flexible if you need to work from home with certain managers. Leadership opportunities for women and minorities are not developed positively. Many new managers go into positions without training and forget how to treat people with courtesy and respect. Valuing people and mutual respect - sometime.
