Cons

You can tell by reading the positive reviews that they seem staged by HR. This is a zero appreciation job that management looks at you like part of a chain gang and u can either conform to working your life away or they'll replace u with someone who will.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and I am sorry to hear that your experience was an unpleasant one. As we always encourage employees if you have issues we would always like to have the opportunity to address them while you are here. Without real-time feedback, change can be slower to occur. Thankfully due to recent and constant improvement as a company the majority of our employees are happy and prosperous. Also, I can assure you that all positive feedback on here is real and not staged by HR. Our bottom line is that if you exude the qualities of a five-star employee and take advantage of our CareerTrak program you can have a long, happy, and prosperous career at F+S.

Pros

US-based manufacturer of architectural finishes, systems, and outdoor furnishings. Beautiful products and good management. Straightforward and high yielding commission structure.

Cons

Managers have very strong personalities. Yearly raises would be nice.

Pros

Steady hours, reasonable starting wages and benefits. Reasonable on the job training for inexperienced welders finishers and material handlers.

Cons

Toxic culture in upper management with a don't rock the boat mentality. Little to no upward mobility. Little emphasis on safety until someone is injured and they may be subject to liability. They will fire people for voicing legitimate safety concerns. Raises are nonnegotiable and would never exceed 2%.
