Never a dull moment in a day of a community director. Residents are not always the easiest to deal with. No matter how caring, supportive or compassionate you are, you'll always have some tenants who just don't like you. When they go out of there way to harass you, stalk you and try to intimidate you, that' s when you reach out for help. Who do you go to? You try your PM, then her Manager and eventually the HR. Dept and a year later you find your still looking for help. There's pro's and con's in working for any company. But when you don't have the support from your higher up's to help get you through those issues, it changes everything. You loose faith in the people you spend much of your time with. It's depressing. After 2 1/2 years with this company, I would have to say don't do it. Find a company that really embraces their CORE values and not just talks about it. Actions speak louder than words.
