Pros

Cons Pt.2 , this place is run like a jail. Cell phones must stay in car and no talking aloud. This includes to management who refuses to show u the ropes.

Cons

If u are looking for a place to grow, this isn't it! Management is very cheap. Recently the place was infested with ants. When brought to the attention of management, he simply ignored me.

When this review was posted, this person was no longer employed by FabSoft, therefore, this review started off with false information right off the bat. She was not a “current employee”. This was an unfortunate situation. Within a few weeks of her employment with FabSoft, it became apparent that her knowledge and qualifications did not match what was said on her resume and delivered during her interview. We were very excited as we believed we found what we were looking for and needed for the position, but unfortunately that was not the case. We provided training to assist her with basic computer knowledge, but unfortunately after a couple of weeks we were left with no other choice. It is understandable that she would be upset and disgruntled, but we tried our best to find a place for her within the company and we also hoped it turned out differently. Of course, we wish her best of luck in her career.

Pros

Despite having reservations after reading other reviews before I started, I found working with Gary to be a very good experience for the time I was at FabSoft. Gary had very clear leadership for us on his vision for the company, removing guesswork as to what we should be doing on a day-to-day basis. He was also very flexible when I had a doctor's appointment or needed to leave early. When we didn't know exactly what leadership was expecting on a task, Gary was always willing to jump on a call to clear things up and set us on the right path. If you are willing to put in the work, this is a great place to grow your career and learn a lot about the software industry.

Cons

If you aren't the kind of person who prefers remote work, it may not be for you. Otherwise, no cons in my experience.

Pros

There are NONE. Literally NONE. The Owner LITERALLY makes sure of this. His words... This is work and work isn't supposed to be enjoyed. That's what weekends are for" There isn't enough Chipotle on ALL the FRIDAYS for the rest of your life to make up for the soul sucking, dismal atmosphere Gary creates.

Cons

Where do I begin???? Gary - the owner - is a MISERABLE, depressed, automoton who neither his employess or his partners want to work with. He trains nobody and PRETENDS they can't do the job. This is ALL a ploy to hire at the low end, get use value and discard. Firing rate is 3 months unless he has an intern. Then they quit after 3 because they have learned nothing and would rather flip burgers than waste thier time listening to Gary talk about how great his joke of a company is. The place is run almost as if Gary thought "Google? What the hell do they know?" And modeled his behavior to be its DIRECT OPPOSITE. To call it a prison would be compliment. It's more like an internment camp where no signs or hope for life can be found. Like many who have been around understand. A small business takes on the personality of its owner and I am still amazed the Company hasn't taken a cynide tablet yet. It WILL, thats for certain especially now that workers have decided to revolt against the BEST opportunities leaving THIS in SERIOUS trouble!
