Pros

* Reasonable workload and generally good work-life balance. * Offers Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for eligible employees (as of 2026).

Cons

* The company previously invested in hiring and developing fresh graduates, but hiring for junior positions has largely been frozen in recent years. * Annual salary increases are relatively low, and career progression can be slow, particularly for individual contributors. * Employee policies often mirror those of much larger technology companies, while compensation and benefits do not appear to be at a comparable level. * Workforce reductions can occur with limited notice, creating uncertainty for employees. * There is a strong emphasis on office attendance, with limited flexibility for some employees during pregnancy and after returning from maternity leave.

Cons

Senior Management is Akin to a Sorority or Fraternity. They are treated exceptionally well and are shameless in their pursuits of recognition. Forced socialization - whether or not you participate in company events is part of your performance reviews. It's not enough to be a friendly, helpful coworker DEI Disgrace - millions and millions of dollars spent on making sure the wrong people are in the wrong job. But hey, they're the right ethnicity! Forced volunteering - another part of your annual review. They give you time off to volunteer at a company-sponsored event. But if you are the type who likes to just do your job, go home, and find life's satisfaction elsewhere, don't join Factset!
