Pros

- Relaxed work environment - Good exposure to the industry - Solid initial training Good benefits: - Health Care - Lunch - Coffee - Paid CFA study

Cons

- Poor pay (starts low and doesn't take off) - Limited avenues for career development. You will most likely have to jump companies to move roles - No stock options overseas - Lots of career lifers (makes it hard to move up) - Limited feeling of achievement or success. You can work hard or take it easy and probably end up in the same place. - As a consultant you are bottom of the pile; others benefit from your work more than you do

Pros

Work from home 3-4 days a weeks

Cons

Senior Management is Akin to a Sorority or Fraternity. They are treated exceptionally well and are shameless in their pursuits of recognition. Forced socialization - whether or not you participate in company events is part of your performance reviews. It's not enough to be a friendly, helpful coworker DEI Disgrace - millions and millions of dollars spent on making sure the wrong people are in the wrong job. But hey, they're the right ethnicity! Forced volunteering - another part of your annual review. They give you time off to volunteer at a company-sponsored event. But if you are the type who likes to just do your job, go home, and find life's satisfaction elsewhere, don't join Factset!
