Pros
* Excellent work/life balance * Some smart people across the org * Free lunch (however this should be a stipend for people that don't need it or bring their own)
Cons
* The company primarily hires junior engineers fresh out of college. And there's a lack of senior leaders with industry experience * Forced return to work (remote is only available in certain states and requires HR approval) * Too much legacy code and technical debt * Pay is not competitive and there is little room for growth on the IC track * A lot of my experience over the years was not transferable to other companies. There's an over reliance on inhouse tech stack * Too much red tape and bureaucracy * It's run more like a big bank than a Software Company. Engineers are 2nd class citizens
