Pros

- Good benefits (e.g. medical reimbursements, increase of paid leaves the longer you stay with the company) - Free shuttle service - Relatively good pay for fresh graduates - Performance-based bonuses - Relatively good work-life balance - Youthful work environment (most employees are in their 20s-30s so they're quite open-minded) - Good training and mentoring - Equal opportunity employer - Perks like free drinks and free monthly merienda - Incentives to help employees save money (e.g. tie-ups with BPI)

Cons

- Language premium is not that high compared to other companies - Work eventually gets monotonous and repetitive; in some cases, being promoted just means doing more of the work you've already been doing - Unnecessarily troublesome policy for sick leaves. Even if you're just absent for one day, you have to submit a medical certificate. I understand that they want to prevent people from abusing their sick leaves, but it's a bit insulting that they don't trust employees enough. It can be unnecessarily troublesome to go to the doctor when you're already feeling quite unwell. - Having to detail what you did at the end of each day (down to the last detail - including how much time you spent doing this or that) shows a lack of trust in employees.

Pros

Work from home 3-4 days a weeks

Cons

Senior Management is Akin to a Sorority or Fraternity. They are treated exceptionally well and are shameless in their pursuits of recognition. Forced socialization - whether or not you participate in company events is part of your performance reviews. It's not enough to be a friendly, helpful coworker DEI Disgrace - millions and millions of dollars spent on making sure the wrong people are in the wrong job. But hey, they're the right ethnicity! Forced volunteering - another part of your annual review. They give you time off to volunteer at a company-sponsored event. But if you are the type who likes to just do your job, go home, and find life's satisfaction elsewhere, don't join Factset!
