Pros

FactSet is a great place to start you career because: the salary is very competitive, your colleagues are all nice, you are given much responsability and the you get to travel either for internal or external meetings. The senior management has a clear view of what the corporate strategy is. FactSet is a growing company which has been rewarding its staff very well over the past few years. You will have to work hard if you want to get advancement but I think this is only fair. You will get a lot of recognition for your work. You management will be thankful for your work and you will get salary increases based on your annual performance.

Cons

The only downside in my view is that clients can sometimes treat really bad because they need things things straight away. This often happens on the IB side. Appart from this, everything satisfies me.

Work from home 3-4 days a weeks

Cons

Senior Management is Akin to a Sorority or Fraternity. They are treated exceptionally well and are shameless in their pursuits of recognition. Forced socialization - whether or not you participate in company events is part of your performance reviews. It's not enough to be a friendly, helpful coworker DEI Disgrace - millions and millions of dollars spent on making sure the wrong people are in the wrong job. But hey, they're the right ethnicity! Forced volunteering - another part of your annual review. They give you time off to volunteer at a company-sponsored event. But if you are the type who likes to just do your job, go home, and find life's satisfaction elsewhere, don't join Factset!
