Pros

Stable company with some really great employees and coworkers, exciting industry, nice facilities and work environment. All the images as a great place to work.

Cons

This is a company that is poorly managed. Elliot depends on many people to manage his business and they are truly letting him down. Decisions on the fly, many of which don't make sense and are usually detrimental to the business. This company is convinced they can cut their way to a profit, they can't. Workers are pushed way too far and are poorly paid. The comments made about no raises is true. In my time with FMP my people never got a raise, that is deplorable. We didn't make enough money to give raises but we could afford to send many employees to Israel for a reward. Funny thing, it's pretty much the same group that gets selected every year. I could probably write out all the winners before the big meeting and get it 90% correct. That's arrogance, to continue to reward the same corporate staffers every year like its part of their compensation. FMP also makes very poor hiring decisions at the upper level management positions. Honestly, why throw money away on guys that don't know the industry? There is one executive that is driving a brand new (if was delivered to the warehouse right off the car carrier in front of all the employees) high end luxury car for his company vehicle while the employees in his buildings can't get a raise. How do you manage people when that type of statement is made?
